CNN Looking at Comedian Chris Rock & "Talk Soup" Host Aisha Tyler as Possibilities for 7 P.M. Slot

Say it ain't so -- CNN flirting with the idea of giving comedian Chris Rock the 7 p.m. slot, according to the NY Post. That would be a bad move in the same vein as D. L. Hughley's stint on sister network HLN. Chris Rock will push the envelope and this isn't the way to get black and Hispanic viewers back. This is the same person who uses the word n*gger and talks about white people. Do we really want to hear that at 7 p.m.? I don't think so. CNN has lost viewers because they suck. Plain and simple. Chris Rock isn't their "prince in shining armor" for that spot. He needs to be on as late in the night as possible because he uses profanity. If it's any consolation, they are also looking at "Talk Soup" host Aisha Tyler and Soledad O'Brien, who would be great with the right format, but Chris Rock? That's asking for trouble.
