Rutgers University Pays Snooki $32K to Speak at Institution But Pays Nobel Prize Winner & Author Toni Morrison $2K Less

Rutgers University pays Nobel-prize winner Toni Morrison $2,000 less than reality show airhead Snooki, who received $32,000 to tell students to "party harder" than studying.

Could someone please tell me where the logic is in Rutgers University paying Snooki $32,000 to speak at the university and paying Toni Morrison $30,000? It seems as though we are content on dumbing-down America, when you have an air-head like Snooki commanding a higher speaking fee than an author, poet, Nobel Peace Prize winner and university professor. Let me also not ignore the fact that Toni Morrison is black, while Snooki is Italian. The latter is known for idiotic antics, including an arrest and community service. According to the Daily Mail, the New Jersey university's Programming Association booked Snooki for two question-and-answer sessions.

More than 1,000 Rutgers students attended the Snooki shows during which she told students to 'Study hard, but party harder.'
