BREAKING: Missing Georgia mom of five, Wazineh Suleiman, was found alive and well this morning, according to Bartow County Sheriff Clark Millsap.
Wazineh Suleiman, 30, was missing since Friday, April 8th and investigators aren't sure if the financial woes the family is experiencing played a part in her disappearance. Er, filing for bankruptcy to get rid of $150,000 in credit card debt is nothing to sneeze at. Any normal person would feel some fallout from declaring bankruptcy on $1.2 million in debts. I thought devout Muslims shunned incurring such massive debt? It's telling that the sheriff said she is at an "undisclosed location at her request." That tells me she wasn't kidnapped but left on her own accord. My maternal grandmother had 11 kids and didn't run away from being a mother. Well, she and my grandfather didn't live beyond their means and to be fair, it was a totally different landscape than today. They owed debtors more than $1.2 million when they filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy in August, court documents show. The couple, which owed more than $150,000 on credit cards, was forced to surrender most assets, including rental property in Florida. The couple retained possession of their Law Road home and a 2009 Toyota Tacoma. Source: AJCThe police have a good idea as to why Mrs. Suleiman felt she needed to leave her family. There's more to this than they are saying. Still, we must take consolation in the fact that she was found alive and well.
UPDATE#1: During a press conference a few minutes ago that the case is closed and no criminal charges will be filed. He also said what is going on in the home between Abed and his wife is private. Er, girlfriend got tired for whatever reason, lost her head and left.
