Richard Blow, 88, Storms Coldwell Banker Office, Shoots Broker Jerry O'Neil, 68, Wanted His Money Back

We have had a terrible rash of gun violence all over the United States. The latest takes the cake. Richard Blow, 88, stormed into a Coldwell Banker office in Rock Hill, SC., Wednesday and shot his real estate broker Jerry O'Neil, 68, because he wanted his down payment back on a deal .

O'Neil was shot in the abdomen and taken to a hospital. Authorities said that Blow had been charged with assault with intent to kill and could face more charges. He reportedly wanted his money back. The police said that about 10 other employees were in the office at the time, but only O'Neil was injured.

Money makes people do crazy things. There is no excuse for what this old man did, but I don't think sending him to prison will solve his problems either.
