What is going on with our men? Well, gospel great Bebe Winans was arrested on a domestic violence charge. WSMV TV in Nashville reports that Gospel icon Bebe Winans was arrested in February for domestic assault after he pushed his ex-wife Debra Winans to the ground during an argument just before Valentine's Day. He was arrested later that night and held briefly at the Davidson County jail before posting $1000 bond.

Debra and BeBe were married for 16 years, divorced in 2003. But in February, Debra claims that BeBe threw her to the ground in front of their children. The cause - a disagreement over custody issues surrounding their two children, a 13 year old daughter and 10 year old son.

It's amazing that this flew under the radar. It's a shame and domestic violence is more prevalent than people care to admit. He had no right to put his hands on this woman. I know that God will forgive him for what he did, but like all people guilty of domestic violence, he doesn't need a slap on his wrist. He'll do it again to someone else.
