John McCain Sinks to a New Low, Mockingly Suggests that Concerns for a Mother's Health are Extreme

This is the part of the debate that John McCain insulted women across this country. I am not one to advocate abortions, but there are circumstances in which is it warranted. I must also add, that I was glad Senator Obama stated that parents have to play a role in reducing teenage pregnancies, an enormous slap to Gov. Sarah Palin and her husband Todd, of whom it could be said was "palling around with terrorists" as well.

John McCain sneered as he attempted to portray support for a mother's health as an extreme position, when in fact, it is a mainstream position -- ground that even fervent pro-life individuals often concede. That was a major blow to his candidacy and helped, in my mind, alienate a lot of women.
