According to media reports, FBI Deputy Director John Pistole said the body is "believed to be" Hudson's nephew, Julian King, and the FBI is working with the Chicago Police Department to confirm the identity.
Deputy Chief Cmdr. Wayne Gulliford said police were responding to "a call about a suspicious auto" in the west side of Chicago at approximately 7 a.m. when they found the body inside a parked white Chevy Suburban, which had a license plate matching the description in the child's Amber Alert.
I am indeed saddened that Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother have been shot to death. According to media reports, Darnell Donnerson and her son Jason were found shot to death inside the mother's South Side Chicago home. What is equally harrowing is that Ms. Donnerson's grandson, Julian King, 7, was taken from the home.
According to the Chicago Sun Times, police identified a suspect in the double murder, William Balfour, who might be with the child. Balfour is “considered armed and dangerous,’’ according to a police alert issued Friday evening. Of course, scumbag extraordinaire, Balfour, 27, was paroled in 2006 after convictions for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and receiving stolen property, state records show. A real low life.
According to the Sun Times, the bodies of Hudson’s mother and brother were found at about 3 p.m. in the 7000 block of South Yale, police said. The shooting is believed to be domestic-related. Neighbors said they heard gunshots between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Friday morning, authorities said.The mother was found on the living room floor; the man was found in a bedroom.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Jennifer Hudson and her family. This is indeed very tragic and didn't have to happen. I hope they will find the child safe.
