Nour Hadid, Alleged Child Killer, Husband Says Taking her Mug shot without Headscarf is Insult Against Muslim Religion

I am not here to cast aspersions on any religion, but I do find it utterly ridiculous that the husband of alleged child killer Nour Hadid said that it was an "insult against our religion," meaning Islam, for the cops to release her booking picture. Isn't this woman being treated like everyone else? Why the preferential treatment? The Orland Park cops have stated that the woman was treated like everyone else and their intent was not to humiliate her when she was photographed without her headscarf and wearing a skimpy top. I have a copy of the picture and the only thing that kept me from putting it on my blog is the fact that the top looks like underwear and I won't denigrate her. Had it been a blouse or shirt, then I would have put it up.
Nour Hadid is accused of beating her 2-year-old niece Bhia Hadid to death over four days at her home on the 9000 block of West 140th Street. The child had 55 separate bruises and was beaten "from head to toe," according to prosecutors, who say Hadid confessed.

But Alaeddin Hadid - who insists his wife is innocent - said Orland Park police are "really going to be in big trouble" for releasing the woman's booking photo to the news media after she was charged with first-degree murder. The Hadids are Muslims and Nour "never leaves the home without covering up," said Alaeddin, who's vowed to sue.

By custom, some practicing Muslim women wear the hijab, or headscarf, and cover their arms and legs when in public. In the mug shot, a bare-headed and obviously emotional Nour appears to be protecting her modesty with her hands. "It is against our religion; we do not do this in our culture," Alaeddin said."People have been calling me about this all day." Source: Chicago Sun Times
Not once did this man mention anything about the innocent baby whose life has been lost so senselessly. So, I guess the latest thing is for law enforcement to bend over backwards for the Muslims and grant them preferential treatment. I thought justice was blind in this country. Who takes a photograph for identification purposes with a scarf or hat on? Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose. What "big trouble" is this man referring to? The cops were merely doing their job.

Conveniently omitted from this man's rant was the fact that his wife allegedly confessed to the murder of the baby. She also allegedly made threats to commit suicide, so do you leave her with the headscarf to allow her to kill herself? So, with that said, I hope the cops mirandized her and she will get a good lawyer because she is in some serious trouble, unlike her husband's interpretation of the matter. Gee, I wonder, is the husband involved in the baby's murder too? They ought to take a look at him. It seems that Islamic advocacy groups are, according to the Chicago Sun Times, reluctant to take up Hadid's cause. The only problem I see in this is the fact that she seems to be in her underwear and the least the cops could have done was let her put on a blouse or shirt before hauling her off to jail.
