Christopher Coleman, Former Security Worker for Joyce Meyer Ministries, Arrested and Charged in Strangulation of Wife Sheri, Two Sons Garret and Gavin

I figured we had another Scott Peterson on our hands when Christopher Coleman's wife Sheri Coleman and their two sons, Garret and Gavin, were found strangled to death in their home. I wasn't one bit surprised to learn this morning that he was arrested and charged with three counts of first degree murder. I know a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in this country, but his actions in the days after the murders were suspicious and questionable, to say the least. The dirtbag, who has allegedly been cheating on his wife with her friend, is being held without bond and is expected to make his first appearance in court today.
Police found the bodies of Sheri Coleman and the children, Garret, 11, and Gavin, 9, in the bedrooms of their two-floor home in the St. Louis suburb of Columbia, Illinois, on the morning of May 5. The police said the three died of ligature strangulation, meaning a item such as a cable or wire was used. Coleman told police he left the house at 5:43 a.m., and drove to a gym to work out.

"Shortly thereafter, he started calling his house, realized that nobody was answering and on his way back at around 6:50 a.m. is when he made the phone call to the Columbia Police Department," the police spokesman said. Coleman told police he started calling his house shortly after leaving it because he "was making sure the kids were getting up for school."

The police said that threatening messages were found on the walls inside the home, but he would not disclose the exact wording. Earlier this month, police said they had an idea who committed the slayings, but they were waiting on prosecutors to build a strong forensic case. Source: CNN
Christopher Coleman's actions just didn't make sense to me and I am sure his behavior struck the cops as pretty odd. First, who calls the police to do a welfare check on their home when you are mere minutes from the same home? Why not go home and check on your family yourself? Second, he refused to contact his wife's family immediately after the bodies were discovered and then refused to have them allowed to be taken back to the Chicago area for a funeral and possible burial, since she has more relatives in that area. Lastly, why was the police have to get a court order to force him to give his fingerprints? All those things didn't add up for me and I felt that he was either the sole murderer or he had help. I am sure that this is the last thing Evangelist Joyce Meyer wanted to be confronted with, an alleged murderer among her security detail. Shameful and I hope this dirtbag has his day in court sooner rather than later.
