Bill Harper, Former Commissioner of Craven County, NC, Displays Coffin with Barack Obama Stickers Outside Polling Station

Bill Harper, former commissioner of Craven County, North Carolina, is displaying a coffin with Barack Obama stickers on it. The NC NAACP said that Harper has crossed the line because the coffin is being displayed outside a polling station. Indeed he has.

The NAACP said that it intimidates voters and appeared to be an obvious threat to Senator Obama and a warning to him to stay away from North Carolina. The group says they will be filing formal charges with the justice department on Monday.

Harper said earlier this week he has used the coffin before during the Bush - Clinton election. Yeah and? This behavior is reprehensible and should not be tolerated. You can't wear a Barack Obama or John McCain t-shirt to the polling station, why should he be allowed to flaunt this ridiculous prop near a polling station? Unbelievable....
