Dang. I have to give it to Condoleeza Rice and her new look. Leaving the Bush Administration in 70 days can do wonders to a person. Rice, in Oscar de la Renta, sported at last night's Glamour's 2008 Women of the Year awards at Carnegie Hall in New York.
The Secretary of State was the butt of jokes for years because of her old-fashioned and unflattering coif but now that she's on her way out of the White House, I guess she too was ready for a change.
She didn't cut her hair. She only pulled it back, which made a world of difference. Too bad all of the high-powered heads of state she met with over the years didn't get to see her looking so stylish.
You go girl!
