His Eminence James Francis Stafford Criticizes Barack Obama as 'Aggressive, Disruptive and Apocalyptic'

Here we go again. Another Roman Catholic leader is spouting off. According to media reports, James Francis Cardinal Stafford criticized Barack Obama last week at a Catholic University lecture entitled “Pope Paul VI and Pope John Paul II: Being True in Body and Soul.“

He said described Barack Obama as “aggressive, disruptive and apocalyptic,“ and said he campaigned on an “extremist anti-life platform.”

“For the next few years, Gethsemane will not be marginal. We will know that garden,” Stafford said, comparing America’s future with Obama as president to Jesus’ agony in the garden. “On November 4, 2008, America suffered a cultural earthquake.”

Stafford also spoke about the decline of a respect for human life and the need for Catholics to return to the original values of marriage and human dignity. Amen to that. They are so vocal about Barack Obama and his pro-choice stance. Hey, didn't Sarah Palin's daughter break one of the Ten Commandments and fornicated? Gee, wasn't John McCain cheating on his wife with the former Cindy Hensley? Wait, President Bush, invaded Iraq on a lie. How come the entire Roman Catholic church hasn't landed on him like a ton of bricks?

This smacks of self-righteousness and hypocrisy. How many boys and girls did the Catholic priests molest? Instead of doing the honorable thing and reporting the perpetrators to law enforcement, they moved these scumbags around to other parishes to molest other innocent kids. So, I find their self-righteousness very hypocritical.
