Diane Rodriguez, 32, Stabs Three Women Over Breakup of Her 12-Year Old Son's Relationship with A 12-Year Old Girl

Is this the way to settle an altercation? Teaching your kid to resort to violence? Well, Diane Rodriguez of Placentia, California, did just that. Three women were stabbed after she reportedly went berserk after being told that her 12-year old son was dumped by his girlfriend, also 12 years old.

According to police, Ms. Rodriguez, 32, was heading to Whitten Community Center at 900 S. Melrose St., near Melrose Elementary School, to pick up her 12-year-old son about 2:40 p.m. Monday. Some of the children at the center, which provides day care, were apparently making comments about Rodriguez' son and his 12-year-old "girlfriend" who had broken up with him, Alexander said. Three women related to the girl confronted Rodriguez, and a fight broke out, Alexander said.

Rodriguez drew a Spyderco knife with a 4-inch serrated blade and stabbed the three women, according to Alexander. Two victims were taken to UCI Medical Center, one stabbed four times and the other twice, Alexander said. The other victim, who was stabbed in the leg, was taken to Placentia-Linda Hospital. All were expected to survive. Alexander said prosecutors were expected to file charges today, which could be for attempted murder, but at minimum were expected to be for assault with a deadly weapon. What are some of these nutjobs who call themselves parents teaching their kids? Seems like these kids were in a relationship that was clearly too adult for them to handle. She is teaching her son that the only way to resolve an argument is through violence. If this woman doesn't get her act together, she will have a thug on her hands, who was trained to be as such by her in his formative years. Throw the book at her! She deserves to be incarcerated for a long time.
