Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee Takes Call on Cellphone During Town Hall Meeting as Constituent Asked her a Question
Once again Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-Tx.) is in the news for all the wrong reasons. During a town hall meeting, she decided to show her constituents how rude she was by taking a call as one woman asked her a question during a recent town hall. How rude!

Michelle Malkin, Right Wing Blogger, Says Sheila Jackson-Lee's Resolution Unveiled at Michael Jackson's Memorial Service "Stupidest Ever"
Right wing nutjob Michelle Malkin just couldn't resist criticizing Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee for the Congressional resolution she unveiled during her speech at Michael Jackson's memorial service. Here is the article from Michelle Malkin's website in its entirety.
Sheila Jackson-Lee hits rock bottom; Update: Video addedI guess she was never accused of anything she didn't do. She seems to have a problem with Mr. Jackson, but why? Has Michelle Malkin ever accomplished anything remotely close to Michael Jackson? I think not. Yes, Michelle Malkin, Michael Jackson was innocent until proven guilty. He was never convicted of child molestation charges. Didn't Elvis Presley begin a relationship with Priscilla Beaulieu in 1959, when she was only 14? I don't hear anyone calling him a pervert. Didn't Glen Campbell have a relationship with his cousin Tanya Tucker? I don't hear anyone calling him a pervert. Didn't Rudy Giuliani marry his second cousin? I don't hear right wingers calling him a pervert. She also didn't seem to have a problem when a resolution was recently passed in North Carolina to honor Jesse Helms, a known racist. Please give me a break. She had to nerve to say that Rev. Al Sharpton's memorial rant was a new low for American culture? Really? This woman is crazy.

Oh, no, she didn’t.
Oh, yes, she did.
Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee just pimped the stupidest House resolution ever on stage at the Jacko memorial at Staples Center. She held up a big, framed copy of it as the crowd cheered. That was after she extolled “The King,” painted him as the world’s greatest humanitarian, and demagogued the child molestation cases by proclaiming that members of Congress “know the law” and know that he is “INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY!”
Yes, she did. Right there in front of Jacko’s three children.
I thought Al Sharpton’s memorial rant was the low point for American culture.

Michael Jackson Tribute Second to None, The "Greatest Entertainer Who Ever Lived" Received a Royal Send-Off to Eternity

Michael Jackson's memorial celebration was, by far, the best I have ever seen. It had moments of laughter, somberness, music and just raw emotion. I cried when Usher broke down and when the King of Pop's daughter Paris spoke about her father. Let me echo Marlon Jackson's words, "I hope they will leave Michael alone now." Yes, I have all the haters, the skeptics, the critics, the analysts and the envious will leave this man alone. Props to Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee for reminding her associate, Peter King, that the Constitution of America guarantees all the right to be innocent until proven guilty. He called Michael Jackson a low-life and a pervert. That is quite contrary to the fact. A low-life and a pervert would not have received such a royal send-off to eternity.
Rev. Al Sharpton hit home with his pointed comments, aimed at the critics of Michael Jackson. "When Michael started, it was a different world, but because Michael kept going, because he didn't accept limitations, because he refused to let people decide his boundaries, he opened up the whole world in the music world," Sharpton said. "He put on one glove, pulled his pants up and broke down the color curtain."
Sharpton then addressed Jackson's children.
"There wasn't nothing strange about your daddy," he said. "It was strange what your daddy had to deal with, but he dealt with it." Amen.
Rest in peace Michael Jackson, rest in peace. Your work here is done. Let us all walk in the destiny that God has ordained for us. Let us commit to being the best person we can possibly be. Let us emulate Michael Jackson and be that "Good Samaritan." I cried. I laughed. I sang along with the singers. Michael accomplished so much in 50 years, more than we probably ever could.
