Pat Robertson says President Barack Obama "inciting people to revolt" in Occupy Wall Street protests all over the country.

Right wing evangelical wingnut Pat Robertson is spewing venom again. This time he accuses President Barack Obama of inciting the "Occupy Wall Street" protesters. Really Pat?

Today on The 700 Club, Pat Robertson told fellow anchorman Lee Webb that President Obama is behind the Occupy Wall Street protests and “is inciting people to revolt.” After discussing recent demonstrations against austerity plans in Greece, Webb predicted that the Occupy Wall Street protesters won’t turn violent but only because winter is soon approaching. Robertson, who last week called the Occupy Wall Street activists “clowns” and “nuts” who needed to “blow off steam,” said that “the match to the kindling is being provided by our noble president.” Source: Right Wing Watch

Pat Robertson's Advice to Man Whose Wife Suffering from Alzheimer's: "Divorce Her" Because She's Already Dead

Pat Robertson's advice to a man whose wife is suffering with Alzheimer's is to divorce her because she was already dead. His co-host Terry Meeuwsen wondered out loud if that would not violate the "til death do you part" provision of the wedding vow, which Robertson simply dismissed, saying "he certainly wouldn't put a guilt trip" on anyone who decided that divorce was the answer. This is coming from a so-called "man of God" and someone who wants to influence who becomes our next president.

'Why Believe in God' Ad Campaign Launched on Washington D.C. Buses

I have never attempted to force my spirituality on anyone because that is not my place, but I believe that the atheists, agnostics or others who have an issue with organized religion, are trying to hijack what people have a right to believe in. According to Fox News ads proclaiming, "Why believe in a god? Just be good for goodness' sake," will appear on Washington, D.C., buses starting next week and running through December. The American Humanist Association unveiled the provocative $40,000 holiday ad campaign Tuesday. The Washington-based group lifted lyrics from "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."

"We are trying to reach our audience, and sometimes in order to reach an audience, everybody has to hear you," said Fred Edwords, spokesman for the humanist group. "Our reason for doing it during the holidays is there are an awful lot of agnostics, atheists and other types of non-theists who feel a little alone during the holidays because of its association with traditional religion."

Edwords said the purpose isn't to argue that God doesn't exist or change minds about a deity, although "we are trying to plant a seed of rational thought and critical thinking and questioning in people's minds." Fox News

According to Fox News, the group defines humanism as "a progressive philosophy of life that, without theism, affirms our responsibility to lead ethical lives of value to self and humanity."

Okay, so why haven't the Roman Catholics, in particular spoke out about this? They are foaming at the mouth to take on Barack Obama for his views on abortion. Where is the evangelicals that favored John McCain over Barack Obama to be their next president? So, I guess they pick their fights conveniently. I have no real problems with the sign on the bus, but I will say, while one is free to their own beliefs, don't try to force it down my throat. Do I hear a word from ultra-conservative religious fanatics Pat Robertson or John Hagee? Of course not.
