Carib News CEO Karl Rodney Facing Prison & Fine for False Statement About Rep. Charlie Rangel's Caribbean Trips

Karl B. Rodney, CEO of the Carib News and Carib News Foundation, is facing up to five years in prison and a fine of $250,000 for lying under oath during his testimony on Capitol Hill in connection with Rep. Charlie Rangel probe. According to Caribbean 360, the DOJ said Rodney’s charges have resulted from his failing to truthfully account for a trip to the Caribbean that he provided for disgraced Democratic member of Congress Charles Rangel. Dumbass. So, Charlie Rangel waltzes away with a slap on the wrist and Karl Rodney is looking at a prison sentence! Rangel's financial disclosure form for 2007 that he attended the Carib News Foundation event in Antigua and Barbuda from Nov. 8-11.
