Pro-Wall Street Investors Business Daily Poll Says 51% of Americans Don't Want Obama Reelected to 2nd Term

IBD poll says 51% of Americans don't want to see President Obama reelected and the AP slams him for his jobs bill saying it has two versions of reality, which comes on the heels of Michael Goodwin saying President Obama now roaming the halls in the White House late at night talking to portraits of ex-presidents.

Investors Business Daily has released the results of a poll, which shows 51 percent of Americans don't want President Obama reelected to a second term. Are these the same Americans who were so willing to give former president George W. Bush a second term, even though we were fighting a war in Iraq on the basis of a humongous lie? Um, are these the same Americans who sat by and watched the bottom fall out of the economic bucket under the watchful eyes of Republicans, including John Boehner and Eric Cantor? Let me preface my statements by saying I am not a Democrat. I am an Independent, albeit a centrist one, so no I am not here to take sides.
A majority of Americans now oppose giving President Obama a second term, reflecting the country's continued weak economic performance, according to the latest IBD/TIPP survey released Monday.

By 51%-41%, respondents in October picked "someone new deserves a chance" over Obama "deserves to be re-elected." Among independents, it was 54%-36%. Back in September, the readings were 50%-44% and 53%-38%, respectively.

Americans are frustrated over the continued sluggish economy, says Raghavan Mayur, president of TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence, which conducted the poll. As Vice President Joe Biden recently admitted, after nearly three years in power, the Obama administration owns the economy. Source
Don't get me wrong, I am not overly thrilled with how President Obama is running the show, but the mess in Washington isn't just his fault. All politicians in Washington D.C. are complicit in this mess. It's amazing that the Investors' Business Daily, which is pro-Wall Street, came out with this poll. Who exactly did they poll?

The Associated Press says President Obama jobs bill has two versions of reality -- one in his speeches and one playing out in Washington D.C.

This poll comes on the heels of the scathing commentary by the Associated Press saying President Obama's jobs bill has two versions of reality -- one in his speeches and one playing out in Washington D.C. But wait, there's more. New York Post columnist Michael Goodwin also takes the president to task, saying he has become a "lone wolf," and "a stranger in his own government," with him roaming the halls of the White House at nights talking to portraits of other presidents. In essence, what Michael Goodwin is saying is that President Obama is a nutjob, who has essentially shut out members of his Cabinet such as Hillary Clinton (who must be saying "I told you so" to those of us who now have buyer's remorse) and Timothy Geithner, who have complained about a lack of face time with the president.

Is President Obama losing it since he's allegedly now talking to portraits of other presidents in the White House?

The president’s workdays are said to end early, often at 4 p.m. He usually has dinner in the family residence with his wife and daughters, then retreats to a private office. One person said he takes a stack of briefing books. Others aren’t sure what he does. If the reports are accurate, and I believe they are, they paint a picture of an isolated man trapped in a collapsing presidency. While there is no indication Obama is walking the halls of the White House late at night, talking to the portraits of former presidents, as Richard Nixon did during Watergate, the reports help explain his odd public remarks. In other words, President Obama is a dead man walking and his presidency is essentially over before he really began, right? Well, we will see how this plays out come November 2012. I am not sold on any of the Republican candidates. They can't do any better for this country, no matter how much sh*t they sell the public. As for Congress, the Republicans shouldn't be singing praises to Obama's plunging poll numbers because their's aren't much better.
