Shouldn't Superintendent Beverly Hall and her aides face criminal charges in the CRCT cheating scandal in Atlanta Public Schools?
Shouldn't criminal charges be forthcoming in the Atlanta Public Schools test cheating racket? A recently released report by Gov. Nathan Deal, shows 178 educators, including 38 principals, erased and corrected mistakes on students' answer sheets. According to the AJC, superintendent Beverly Hall and her top aides either ignored, buried, destroyed or altered complaints about misconduct, while claiming ignorance. Shouldn't criminal charges be brought against Hall and her posse of test score marauders? Is Forsyth County discriminating against older teachers and trying to force them out to bring in younger and lower paid teachers?
Something stinks in Georgia where education is concerned and parents shouldn't take it lightly. For example, we have been looking into allegations of ageism in Forsyth County, where all the older teachers are being forced out to make room for younger and lower paid teachers. That investigative report by The Hinterland Gazette is coming because this isn't just a Hall County problem. It is probably a Georgia Department of Education problem. What good does educators changing a student's test scores do for the child? If he or she is failing, then let them fail and help them improve their test taking abilities. Don't cheat for them. What Beverly Hall and the people involved are saying, school standards matter more than the children. They see the students as numbers, not individuals.
