Creflo Dollar tells World Changers members if Adolf Hitler repented where-ever he was before he died, then we'll see him in heaven, in a slap to Jews everywhere.
LIVE-BLOGGING: Creflo Dollar says he's going to "start a revival or a riot." He is going to talk about church discipline and if a believer continues to live in sin. What happens when two people are in an adulterous relationship and they continue. It may be a physical thing to put them out. Seems like there are a lot of empty seats at World Changers International this morning.... I was struck by his comments about people from the Third World -- wearing the same clothes on their backs for six months. Really? My family is from Jamaica, which is considered a Third World country, and no, they have not worn the same clothes for six months nor have they gone without food or are in need, no more than people in this country. Since when is poverty something to joke about? What happens when a Christian falls into sin -- distinct difference between you having an accident which you don't plan or habitually falling in sin. If you are a born again Christian, you should not be practicing sin. He said if you walk in the spirit then you won't fall for the flesh. You will have a mindset that lines up with the word of God. Your mind must line up with the word of God and not your emotions. He said the Word of God has to be the final authority.
The attitude of brethren when they see a Christian sin & the attitude of spiritual leadership -- the person who is involved should be called and confronted about the sin, but in meekness and in love. So, why did he want the members of New Birth who came to his church to go back? Why not help them address the perceived sin. Discernment has evidence and motivated to help. Judgment means you have no evidence and want to lay blame on the other person. He said the goal should not be to punish or humiliate the person, but to restore the person back to God and back to the brethren. We must not be critical, judgmental and unkind. Angry at the enemy because they are trying to destroy a good brother or sister. He says Satan wants to destroy every Christian life. He says when people attack him and his wife Taffy, they are attacking the Gospel.
Repentance -- change of heart, mind & direction. If the person has truly repented of the sin and there is evidence of genuine repentance, we should freely forgive and love that person again. If we expect to receive mercy from God, we must extend mercy to others. Galatians 6:1 - "we gotta learn how to behave in the House of God." Gee, I wonder, has he spoken to Bishop Long about his alleged failings in the flesh? I'm talking about the sexual coercion lawsuits brought by Spencer LeGrande, Jamal Parris, Maurice Robinson and Anthony Flagg. Yeah, the one he reportedly settled for nearly $25 million.
He read a letter from a pastor in Africa about an evangelist who fell in sin. How could he have sinned, the letter said. The spirit of the Lord sinned, he sinned against me but he has made his way right and who are you to have a judgmental spirit against that person. Dollar said if you are judging someone who has been forgiven by God, then you are wrong. Choose not to judge by one's past failures. He did not continue in sin, the letter said.
Restore him back again -- Creflo Dollar says he "has never seen an army that shoots its wounded soldiers. We should rally around and help them live again." He said we must restore them to meekness, mindful that it could have happened to us. The attitude is not to broadcast it or spread the word around. He said if the word is spread around, Facebook it, Twitter it, etc., then that's wrong. He said if he is a minister, then he may need to stay out of ministry for some time depending on the case. Is he not talking about Bishop Eddie Long?
He said he" went to a nation where the senior pastor was being sued by spiritual sons for finances." He said "a brother should not go to court with a brother. A son shouldn't take his daddy to court." He said he wasn't saying the name of the country. He said if he and his wife "were ever to get into sin, there is a group of ministers who serve as elders for the church, I have to make sure his congregation is taken care of." He said these five men have been given instructions, along with legal rights from the board of directors. He said he put things into place if he "acts stupid" and does something wrong. "No child needs to hear the gross details of their parents." In other words, he agrees with the mess from Bishop Long not coming to light. He said the buck doesn't stop with him. "A lay member is not the one to discipline the minister." It's like a baby trying to discipline his mother and father, he said. He said, "no preacher has to worry about him taking their church." He said he wants to get them back on track.
He said this sermon was prepared a month ago and he believes something powerful is going to happen -- "a separation of the wheat and the chaff." He said, "a bruised weed, you should not break." "When you see somebody already bruised, 'don't come to them and kick them again," he added. The objective shouldn't be to knock them down. Pick them up and get to the restoration. He said if you dog somebody out, your day is coming. You will be dogged out too. If you are "ugly to people, somebody is going to be ugly to you." He said it is okay to be a "snitch" so the leadership can help the person. He closed with a prayer, saying we set our will on forgiving anyone for anything. He said "if you have heard one thing I ever said that you didn't like cancel out everything I have ever said, don't do that." He said he is honored to have pastored such a great church. He said he will try to give his people the best church they can possibly give. Of course, he's asking "let's give big today." More money, more money. The original pimp in the pulpit, Dr. Creflo Dollar.
To think that Creflo Dollar could legitimize the name of Adolf Hitler is an affront to both Jews and blacks around the world. He said "if Adolf Hitler repented before he died, then we will see him in heaven." Yes the Bible talks about forgiveness, but there is no evidence that Hitler was deeply religious. A religious person would not have literally wiped out so many innocent people. I guess Dollar would say the same thing about Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi and Syrian dictator Bashar Al-Assad. Yeah, he just lent credence to the innocent people slaughtered during genocides in Rwanda, Sudan, Uganda, Bosnia, etc. I guess he just talked himself out of that invitation to Israel he bragged about during the service.
