Charles DuBose Arrested for Shooting 11 Year Old Girl Ivhan'e Merritt for Walking on His Front Lawn

Charles DuBose arrested for shooting 11 year old girl, Ivhan'e Merritt, after she and a group of kids were playing in front of his house, one walked on his front lawn, another bumped his car.

Charles DuBose, 55, was arrested by Cleveland, OH, police after he shot Ivhan'e Merritt, 11, on Friday, at 10:40 p.m., because he was enraged one of the children who had been in a group of children playing in front of his home walked across a part of his front lawn, while another bumped his car. Sick.

DuBose was arrested by police at his home. Formal charges have not yet been filed. According to court records, DuBose does not appear to have a criminal record in Cuyahoga County and has lived at the home on East 118th Street home for more than three decades. I don't care what this man is going through, shooting a kid because she walked on his lawn is ridiculous. He deserves any sentence the court metes out.
