Bishop Eddie L. Long Tells New Birth Congregation "Regardless of Whether You Made Your Bed in Hell God Will Come & Get You"

Bishop Eddie Long tells New Birth members "how you spend your time on Earth will determine how you spend your time in eternity."

Homeboy Bishop Long
We are tuned in to the 8 a.m. Sunday service at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. First up, it seems like Vanessa Long is sitting on the stage. He made a reference to her. That doesn't mean much in the way of being together. Bishop Eddie L. Long said how you spend your time will tell how you will spend your eternity. He said you may get confused on this journey about a lot of things. He said you must be sure of "who your Daddy is" regardless of where you find yourself. "Regardless of whether you made your bed in hell your Father will come and get you."

New Birth Knoxville is coming online and he praised New Birth Birmingham, saying they have 3,000 members. It's all about the money for Bishop Long. Not souls for Christ, souls for the bottom line -- money. He said "God multiples your seed as you put in your tithe." There will be multiple offerings. He is feeding them the line that when you sow over your seed you will reap the benefits. He beckoned the people to come quickly and said, "if you fall down, get up quickly." He laughed. How ironic. Could the Bishop be talking about the nearly $25 million fall he took with the church's money?

He also said God moves in a "mighty and wonderful way." His message was taken from Acts 2 - Pentecost.  Yeah, a rushing mighty wind of Bishop Long throwing the church's money out of the window. He's "anointing the members with the oil of God." This is too funny even for  a believer like me to take serious. There are prayer stations and he said this is a "new day" and "new sound." Declaring the yoke will be broken -- yoke of broken marriages and will wake up the power of God that has been in you all along. He said this is for your power, kingdom and your blood line. One drop, one touch, fresh anointing. Exodus30: 22 & 30.

"God is remolding you whole through your brokenness into all I have ordained for you to be." Is he not talking about himself? Cinnamon represents the grind of life. "You have to go through something to get to the sweet thing. So in your brokenness, it's mixing in to your anointing. What ever you're going through, you are anointed to go through it. Don't stop in the middle, don't die in the valley. There is some sweet stuff on your way.""   In other words, there is a reason for whatever you're going through, you will reap the benefits. Something bigger and better for you, particularly if you did not get discouraged. He said somebody ought to celebrate. What? What a narcissist! He said "he has been through cancer, he has been through divorce..... he's expensive, he has the anointing." Are these prophetic words?
