Zachery Tims Ex-Wife, Riva Tims, Takes to Facebook to Distance Herself from Lawsuit Filed by Madeline Tims to Block Release of Toxicology Results

Pastor Riva Tims, ex-wife of the late Pastor Zachery Tims, distances herself from lawsuit filed by his mother, Madeline TIms, to block release of the results of his toxicology tests to determine the cause of his sudden death.

As if the controversy couldn't get any worst, Riva Tims, ex-wife of the late Zachery Tims, took to Facebook to publicly dissociate herself from the hot mess playing out in the Tims household. Madeline Tims, the mother of Zachery Tims, filed a lawsuit in the New York Supreme Court to block the release of her son's toxicology results. Um, I don't know who is giving her advice, but she's literally messing with her son's legacy. We all know that the toxicology results clearly show the cause of death. If it was an overdose, couldn't his misfortune be used as a teachable moment for young people? Why hide it?

Dear Facebook Family, I wanted to clear up a matter that has recently come to my attention. There are several news articles claiming that my ex-husband’s mother and I are suing the City of New York to keep his cause of death secret. I was not aware that his mother filed suit and I am in no way involved in this matter. I have not filed suit and I don’t plan to file suit in the future.

Good for her. This could also show there is a schism in the family about releasing the test results. Either way, the truth will come to light one day. As they say, you can run, but you can't hide. (H/T Harriet Cammock)
