Rev. Fred L. Shuttlesworth, Co-Founder of Civil Rights Group SCLC, Died After Long Illness

The Rev. Fred L. Shuttlesworth, one of the leaders of the Civil Rights movement, a co-founder and former president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, died Wednesday morning after a long illness. He was 89. Funeral arrangements are currently pending.
