Family of Pastor Zachery Tims considering starting court case to block release of toxicology results in his death, suspected to be the result of a drug overdose.

The family of Zachery Tims is trying its best to keep the results of his toxicology tests a secret, so much so that they are willing to go to court to do so. We first broke the story that NYC Medical Examiner office’s spokeswoman, Ellen Borakove, said the results were being delayed due to "family concerns." She returned our phone call and was very forthcoming with that detail, though she never said what the concerns were.

Well, as I stated then, they have something to hide. The test results showed that their beloved pastor Tims was still wrestling with the demon of drugs. You can't sweep that under a rug. It should be used as a teachable moment for young people and for others to understand the struggles of a megachurch pastor. You can't move forward if you keep looking backwards.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Tims' family may be considering starting a court case to keep the results secret. That will only keep the speculations going. No matter what, his reputation is already sullied.
