Texana Hollis, 101, Evicted from her Detroit Home, Can Return, HUD Pays Taxes & Removes Padlocks Reversing Eviction

GOOD NEWS: The U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development finally did something for someone in need. Texana Hollis was evicted from her home in Detroit after her son, Warren Hollis, ignored letter after letter sounding alarm over the impending foreclosure of his elderly mother's home, now she has been given a well-deserved chance to live out the rest of her life in dignity in her home. HUD paid the taxes and the padlocks were removed, so she can return to her home for the last 58 years. I hope her lazy and tired-ass son, Warren Hollis, is let back in the house with stipulation that he does not handle his elderly mother's financial affairs. What a loser. You don't sit there and allow your elderly mother to go through this drama. This is certainly good news indeed. They should also retire the debt in its entirety. Via: MLive
