To put it simply, the outburst is another disturbing example of a conservative debate audience cheering death, since this happened during last week's debate as well, when Perry claimed he slept comfortably at night with the assumption that his state hadn't executed any innocent people. If they can cheer for the death of anyone, then it's quite easy to see that members of the movement harbor racist views as well.
"Yeah!" several members of the crowd yelled out.
"We never turned anybody away from the hospital," he said of his volunteer work for churches and his career as a doctor. "We have given up on this whole concept that we might take care of ourselves, assume responsibility for ourselves ... that's the reason the cost is so high," Rep. Ron Paul said.

Tea Party Movement Gets Black Eye After Audience Cheers Death of Hypothetical Man Without Insurance During CNN/Tea Party Debate
The mere fact that members in the audience at the CNN/Tea Party debate cheered when Rep. Ron Paul implied that a man without health insurance should just be left to die if he needs medical attention, is further proof on why I can't take the Tea Party serious. They also guffawed when the debate focused on Gov. Rick Perry's assertion that Bernanke should be tried for treason. I started watching the debate, but switched to another channel more than half-way through the broadcast. I
