Saniya, 6 YO, Black MI Girl, Victim of Racially Motivated Assault Outside Livonia Theater By Three Men, "Called Monkeys & Baboons"

Six year old MI girl, Saniya, was a victim of a racially motivated assault outside a Livonia movie theater by three men in a F-150 pick-up truck, who called her and her parents "monkeys & baboons."

It's a sad commentary when you have to explain racism to a six year old child. According to MyFoxDetroit, six year old Saniya and her parents went to see the movie, "The Smurfs" at a Livonia, MI, theater. The attack came as they left the movie theater Tuesday afternoon. Three guys in a faded red pickup truck, thought to be a Ford F-150, threw a sticky liquid in the girl's face and, according to the girl's mother Nesia, the men shouted as they drove off, "You monkeys, you baboons." She also said they "started making like monkey noises and sounds and just kind of drove off."
