New Birth Sunday Morning Drama Continues with Members Still Falling Out before Altar, No Response from Eddie Long on Centino Kemp

Falling out continues at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church for yet another Sunday with no response from Bishop Long on Centino Kemp's allegations of rape against "Dick Tracy" or even why he was paid as part of settlement, though he didn't file a lawsuit.

Live-blogging New Birth Missionary Baptist Church: The service starts with the choir singing the "Lord is here right now." The moderator said there's an atmosphere of healing right now. They are calling an altar call in the beginning of service. Some kids have come up to the altar. They are singing "Mighty to Serve" and the lights are dimmed, the sanctuary dark and a light shining from the stage. I can see exactly where this service is going.

Moderator asking for $1 for each year Bishop Long served New Birth (Ainsworth Communication)

On  August 28, 2011, the church will celebrate Bishop Long's 24 years of pastoral service at New Birth. They will be collecting an anniversary offering. More money for Bishop Long. Bishop T.D. Jakes will be speaking at New Birth on August 28th. Bishop Long won't be in service today. The moderator is asking for $1 a year for every year Bishop Long has served the church for that special offering. The offering basket will be passed around twice -- one for tithes and the second for Long family offering. The moderator said he's going to sow $10 per year for the Long family. Another way of squeezing money out of the congregation. You know you have some fools who will sow their last money for Long and his family to live the high life.


Message from Bishop Long, who the moderator said is on assignment. A four day conference in Johannesburg, South Africa. Right what better place to go but to Africa to brainwash the people. He's preaching in Johannesburg, Soweto, Cape Town and some other places. He said they are taking authority with great men and women of God. He wants to tell his congregation that he loves them. He said this ministry is still effective around the world. 

Pastor Tommy Powell (Ainsworth Communication)

The pastor for today is Rev. Tommy Powell, senior pastor of New Birth Augusta. Powell said he grew up in a place for 21 years, he said he's back and intimidated. He said when we've been through what we've gone through, the anointing "in this place is stronger than ever before." He said, "look at your neighbor and say we're standing on holy ground." He said there's a strong anointing in this place and "this is a strong house." He said he wants to thank a people for worshipping God no matter what. He told the people to put their hands together for the best bishop this side of the world. He also said they can't sit without thanking God for first lady Elder Vanessa Long in "all her grace."


1 Samuel 9:3 & 10 -- Go and look for the donkeys. 10:1 Then Samuel took a flask of oil, poured it on Saul's head and kissed him and said....two men by Rachel's tomb.. and they will say to you the donkeys you went to look for have been found. Your father will no longer worry about the donkeys, but you....three men going up to Bethel will greet you and give you two loaves of bread which you shall receive from their hands.... You will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place.... Spirit of the Lord will come upon you....Do as the occasion demands when the signs come upon you for God is with you. This occasion demands that you be turned into another man.


Kish is Saul's father and he has lost some of his donkeys. "If we think we have been in a recession, these people have been in a recession for upwards of 100 years." Kish saw his father send his sons after the donkeys. He is on assignment for his father. Donkeys equal income. In a famine you don't want to lose income. He said if you have been in a recession and you have lost income, the prophet (Long) said "you are coming to overtake and recover all." When we should be on assignment for God, we are somewhere chasing donkeys. He said the only reason he came to church was because he was chasing a woman and she told him the only way he could get her was to come to the house of the Lord. He said when he came a prophet spoke a word into his heart. God will create a crisis in your life to get where you need to be.


As we are chasing donkeys we fail to realize that God is intertwined in our lives. As he's chasing these donkeys he doesn't realize God is creating a crisis. Um, so is this crisis Bishop Eddie L. Long created telling members to leave and go to the place where God has truly ordained for them to be? How ironic! He said in "a time of famine, I don't need CNN to tell me what to do. I need a prophet." He said for those that know Bishop Long is still a prophet and has the word in his mouth....."With God there is always two causes for any one event -- natural and spiritual." David was sent to the battle field to be a "Papa Johns delivery boy." Jesse sent him to take food to his brothers, but there was another plan in store for David. This is the age of another plan. What you thought God had planned for you, God has another one in store. This is the age of emergence. God is about to switch the table and take those on the bottom and put them on the top. This is the time for the saints of the High God to rise up. He said Washington doesn't know what to do, but the body of Christ knows what to do.

New Birth Altar Call at Rachel's Tomb (Ainsworth Communication)

"Don't think that our prophet is just going through the motion, when just 30 days ago he had an anointing service," he said of Bishop Long. What generations couldn't do, now is the time for us to do it. You have to have your head anointed with oil. If you lost a house to foreclosure, you should praise God because it has already been recovered. What ever you lost has already been recovered, but you have to get to Rachel's Tomb, the place of that blessing. What's so special about Rachel's tomb? Rachel was one of two wives. Her husband was Jacob, who was tricked and had to marry her sister Leah. He said God is moving you into a place of favor, since Rachel got favor from God. He said "I'm going to have favor from my haters, favor from the bank, favor from my haters. What I can't do myself God is going to bring someone who will bring me favor, he said. Rachel had to sit and watch Leah had babies like a rabbit and asked God what about me. "Watching someone who doesn't go to church, doesn't tithe, nasty, hate people, get all the blessing and then he remembered Rachel," he said.

"Don't be envious of the wicked, I remember you."If you receive the word and can thank God in advance for the things you can't see, then you will have reached Rachel's Tomb, he said. When God remembered Rachel, she birthed Joseph. "You've been going through hell and high water enough, putting up with funny acting people long enough now, then God is going to open up your womb, dream again. God has remembered you," he shouted. He said he is talking to some people who just because you made a mistake you think God has forgotten you. "You've been crying seven years since that negro left you, but I remember you, God says." God hasn't forgotten you, but "I need you to come on back home now." "No more five minute devotions." "For the joy of the Lord is my strength." People are coming to the altar again and putting, what I assume is money, on the altar and some are kneeling. Yeah, they're getting ready to fall out again. "The prophet already declared this is the season of favor, no need in holding back now.""I see the tears, I see the release happening," Powell said.

"When you get on a horse, skateboard, Maserati, get to stepping now, when you see the company of prophets, don't consider yourself a donkey chaser anymore. New revelation will flow, when you see the company of prophets, when you see them making overseas deals, teaching in universities, don't back down. If you can see it you can believe it, the spirit of the Lord will come upon you." He said change your circle of friends. Is this prophetic in a roundabout way about Bishop Long? Couldn't we make the argument that it's time for New Birth to change their circle of worship?

Rev. Powell said someone just handed him a note and said a woman in the nurse's station just went into labor, to birth another man. LMAO. The woman was in labor before she walked into church this morning. It didn't just happen. He said "we're blessed, but don't sit upon the word without acting. If the lady going into labor isn't confirmation, then I don't know what else is." He said our bishop has been talking about Pentecost and oil this whole 90 day period, don't take for granted he's just preaching. There's something God is showing him about us that he wants us to become in the next 60 days. We don't have time for the I can't spirit. Everything coming out of us now needs to be yes we can," Powell said. He said He's going to make your enemies be at peace with you when favor comes on your life.

He said "it's time for you to become another man." Um, could that be the other man/woman Bishop Long AKA Dick Tracy told Centino Kemp to become? Of course, money is always at the forefront of the minds of the leaders. The moderator stated if you can't sow a seed into Long's hand, do it next week.
