Detroit Police to Increase Shifts After 16 People Shot, Seven Fatally in 24 Hour Span

Detroit police will increase shifts to 12 hours Monday after a weekend filled with gun violence. According to media reports, 16 people were shot, six fatally between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday.
