Bishop Eddie L. Long Expanding New Birth to Birmingham & Denver, Asks Members to Contribute $500 to $1K to Help Expansion

Bishop Eddie L. Long, who recently settled sexual coercion lawsuits brought by four young men, asked church members to donate $500 to $1,000 to fund church expansion to Birmingham & Denver.

Bishop Eddie L. Long announced in yesterday's sermon that the church was expanding to Birmingham and Denver. In the same breath, he was asking for sizable donations from members to help this expansion. He asked for $500 to $1,000 from each member who could financially afford this. Er, why is he asking for money since he just settled sexual coercion suit for millions? Why not get the money from that same source? You will recall Spencer LeGrande, Maurice Robinson, Anthony Flaggand Jamal Parrisaccused the anti-homosexuality pastor of engaging in homosexual acts with them. Why aren't the members of New Birth Missionary Baptist church asking for more answers from Bishop Long? They are the ones who created this monster. How is he any different from Jim Jones or David Koresh? Talk about hubris...
