Olivia Walker said she was barred from entering a DeKalb County (GA) court hearing because her skirt was too short. According to WSB-TV, Walker was to appear in recorder's court Tuesday for a traffic ticket, but she said sheriff’s deputies would not allow her into the courthouse because the dress she was wearing was too short. This story is utterly ridiculous.

“The way we dress is an expression of ourselves,” Walker said. “As I was going in, they said, ‘You’re dressed inappropriately.’ My bra was showing a little bit so naturally I assumed this is what it was for. I went and got a jacket and put it on.” But when she returned, she said deputies told her that didn’t fix the problem and her mini skirt was not allowed. Um, she should think twice about wearing a mini-skirt, but let me not digress. If the rules of the court are posted on the door, people need to take heed and not show up for court as one would for the club. She missed her court date because of the dress controversy and is now worried that there might be a warrant out for her arrest.
