So, now President Obama is "aimless" and crazy, walking through the halls of the White House late at night talking to portraits of other presidents. That's according to the New York Post's Michael Goodwin, who also said the president was now a "lone wolf" and a "stranger in his own government." In other words, President Obama is a dead man walking and his presidency is essentially over before he really began, right? Well, we will see how this plays out come November 2012. I am not sold on any of the Republican candidates. They can't do any better for this country, no matter how much sh*t they sell the public.
The president’s workdays are said to end early, often at 4 p.m. He usually has dinner in the family residence with his wife and daughters, then retreats to a private office. One person said he takes a stack of briefing books. Others aren’t sure what he does. If the reports are accurate, and I believe they are, they paint a picture of an isolated man trapped in a collapsing presidency. While there is no indication Obama is walking the halls of the White House late at night, talking to the portraits of former presidents, as Richard Nixon did during Watergate, the reports help explain his odd public remarks. Source: NY PostAs for Congress, the Republicans shouldn't be singing praises to Obama's plunging poll numbers because their's aren't much better. The right will do anything to portray the president as a bumbling idiot, who can't seem to get anything right. Um, wait, wasn't that George W. Bush? On a serious note, the incomes of Americans are shrinking and we can't seem to shake this economic funk we are in. The recovery isn't forthcoming, coupled with a chronically high unemployment rate, which explains why so many people are disillusioned with the president, along with the implosion of his economic team. Obama finally admitted that people were no better off before his election and the economic data proves that point. So, maybe President Obama has become a lone wolf, but the reality is he isn't the only one trapped in the closet. In closing, I don't put much stock in the messenger, the New York Post, since they are a part the News Corp. right wing machine.
