Trayton Goff & Gwenette Matthews Fatally Shot, 22 Injured as 2 Gunmen Open Fire at Club Elite in Palmetto FL

The gun violence continues...Trayton Goff of Palmetto, Fla., and Gwenette Matthews of Bradenton, were shot and killed early Saturday morning at the Club Elite in Palmetto. Twenty-two people were injured. According to media reports, two gunmen opened fire at the club. Police haven't released a motive for the shooting and no arrests have been made.

According to the Bradenton Herald, Palmetto Police Chief Rick Wells said he believes this was the worst shooting in his city, based on the number of people shot. The newspaper also said Goff has a prior felony conviction of sale of cocaine. He was just released from jail on September 5, for driving with a license, following a previous conviction.

UPDATE#1: Bradenton police said the gunmen used AK-47s in the shootout.
