Isn't it Hypocritical to Invite GE Chairman to Jobs Speech When His Company's Moving X-Ray Unit to China?

Isn't it a little hypocritical for the White House to invite Jeffrey Immelt, GE chairman and head of President Obama's job council, since the company plans to move the headquarters for its x-ray unit to Beijing? Immelt will join Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who sparked outrage after raising a six-foot wall around the mayor's mansion earlier this year, though a local ordinance prohibits fences that exceed 42 inches in height. Okay, so the fence thing doesn't rise to the same level of hypocrisy as Jeffrey Immelt at a jobs speech, but it shows Villaraigosa (who engaged in an extramarital affair with a television anchor a few years ago) felt he was above obeying the law in his city. Other guests who will sit in First Lady Michelle Obama's box are: AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, AOL founder Steve Case, Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, a teacher, a nurse and several other people.
