Today I had the distinct pleasure of speaking with
Jamal Simmons, a former political strategist for then-presidential candidate
Barack Obama. Simmons, who was a partner in a technology start-up, is no stranger to the political world, having working with former
GA U.S. senator Max Cleland and
President Bill Clinton. You will most certainly remember Jamal Simmons from his numerous appearances on CNN during the 2008 presidential campaign. Simmons is currently a co-chair for the Internet Innovation Alliance, which aims to bring broadband Internet access to under-served areas. The interview and transcript is coming soon!
