Nash County NC Deputy Warren "Sneak" Lewis Shot & Killed Executing Arrest Warrants for Lamont Byrd & Kion Dial in Death of Thomas Hinton

Nash County deputy Warren "Sneak" Lewis shot & killed serving warrants on suspects in death of Thomas Hinton.

Nash County, NC, deputy Investigator Warren "Sneak" Lewis was shot and killed Thursday evening in Kinston as he and another agent served warrants for suspects, Lamont Byrd and Kion Dail, in the week-old murder of Thomas Hinton. Five suspects were apprehended, with three of them wanted in Hinton's murder.

According to Nine on Your Side News, Lewis was assigned to the Eastern North Carolina Fugitive Task Force. He served as a member of the Nash County Sheriff’s Office for more than nine years and served on the Eastern NC Fugitive Task Force for the last three years.
