Black teen Iloune Driver arrested in shooting rampage on Brooklyn's Brighton Beach boardwalk that claimed life of Harlem teen Tysha Jones and wounded four others; suspect has extensive criminal history.

Brooklyn teen Iloune Driver, 19, was arrested for the deadly shooting rampage on Brooklyn's Brighton Beach boardwalk that left Tysha Jones dead and four others wounded. Police arrested the teen this morning and charged him with second-degree murder and assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. NYPD investigators stated last week that they believed the shootings were gang-related, but they have not said whether or not Driver is in a gang. Seems like a case of black-on-black crime. This is such a travesty.

Surprise, surprise --  Iloune Driver has an extensive criminal record. According to the NY Post, his criminal record dates back to 2008. He was arrested nine times, including once for robbery, criminal sale of drugs and gun possession, the newspaper said. He also has a sealed arrest dating back to 2010, the police told the newspaper. He had no business being out on the streets of New York City.
