IMF Head Dominique Strauss-Kahn Taken Off Air France Flight & Taken in Police Custody in Connection with Sexual Assault of Sofitel Maid

IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn arrested in New York City after Sofitel maid says he attempted to sexually assault her.

URGENT: Dominique Strauss-Kahn, head of the International Monetary Fund, has been taken into custody by New York City police and is being questioned in connection with a sexual assault of a hotel maid. Strauss-Kahn was taken off an Air France flight to Paris Saturday afternoon. He has not been charged.
Strauss-Kahn, 62, allegedly crept up behind a maid after she entered his room and forced her to perform oral sex on him, sources said. The woman broke free and ran out of the room. Strauss-Khan quickly headed for the airport, sources said.

Charges against Strauss-Kahn, who is married to well-known French TV journalist Anne Sinclair, were pending Saturday night, sources said. Source: NY Daily News

IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn has been DENIED $1 million bail in a major smackdown.

The French are reeling from this latest turn of events. He could now face up to 25 years in prison for the alleged attack. It should be noted that the maid picked him out of a line-up. According to the U.K. Daily Mail, he claims he was having lunch with his daughter at the time of the attack. In another interesting turn of events, "The Great Seducer" has been accused of a sexual attack by a second woman, Tristane Banon, who claims it occurred in Paris in 2002.
