Another black mark for Donald Trump as Miss USA beauty pageant contestant Shaletta Porterfield resigns after being charged with three counts of identity theft for forging signatures.
Shaletta Porterfield has resigned from the Miss USA pageant on Friday after being charged with three counts of identity theft. According to the
NY Daily News, Porterfield, who represented Wisconsin in the beauty pageant owned by Donald Trump, told investigators she forged signatures of business owners on advertising contracts while working for a marketing company last year. The business owners found out about the scheme when the marketing company asked them to proof some ads they hadn't agreed to buy. Her lawyers claim she hatched the plot to hit her commission goals at the company because she was under a lot of pressure. I am sure this same thing is happening in many companies across the U.S.
