I don't know why the Roman Catholic Church does not allow the priests to get married. A picture believed to be that of Alberto Cutié, a popular Miami Catholic priest, has appeared in a Spanish-language television magazine showing him stretched on the beach and kissing a woman. Well, if that's really him, at least he wasn't engaging in pedophilia like some of the Catholic priests. He has been called before Miami Archbishop John Favalora and faces possible removal from performing church duties at his parish, St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Miami Beach because church officials believe he may have broken his vows of chastity. Well, here's a scandal they wish would go away in a hurry.Archbishop Favalora reportedly apologized for the incident and said that he was "deeply saddened" by the photographs. Let's be realistic, how many of these priests actually follow through on their promise of celibacy? I attended an all-girls Roman Catholic high school in Jamaica and I will never forget a priest by the name of Father Pegg. He engaged in sexual relations with several young girls at the school and ended up getting one pregnant. He died in a terrible car accident and never lived to see the birth of his baby. So, this behavior is nothing new and it shows the hypocrisy in the Catholic Church. Some have boycotted President Obama's upcoming appearance at Notre Dame University, but they can't seem to control some of their priests.
