Macedonia Church of God, Predominantly Black Church, Torched in Suspicious Fire Hours After Barack Obama Wins Election

Yep, the racist freaks come out at night....

According to Boston Herald, Macedonia Church of God, a predominantly black church under construction in Springfield, was destroyed by fire early yesterday, just hours after Barack Obama's landmark victory, triggering concerns that the building was purposely set ablaze in a possible hate crime. The damage is estimated to be around $2 million.

Church officials pledged to rebuild, but the concerns that their building was targeted dampened a mood that had been so uplifted in the night of Obama's historic win to become the nation's first black president-elect.

"This was a special time in our nation's history, but I also know not everybody was happy and celebrating," said Bishop Bryant J. Robinson Jr., head of the church. "After 71 years of being an African-American, you know these things happen."

We have to be very wary about this because of the timing.The church had been more than 75 percent complete. Apparently, nothing inside could have sparked a fire on its own. The electrical system had not been installed. The building was targeted and I am pretty sure the actions were meant to send a message. Yeah, but this time around, we are waiting for the lunatics to try some sh**. This incident reminds me of the days when black churches were being torched in the South. This is a new day and we will not be railroaded by a bunch of racist punks.

According to Boston.com, neighbors said that the congregation had seen some resistance from the suburban neighborhood when construction was proposed, but the opposition was centered on having such a building in a residential area, and was not related to its 250 members, neighbors said.

Well, let's wait for the facts to come out, but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then my friends, it is a duck. This smells of racism.
